Sofia Stuart-Rasi is an artist and filmmaker from Denver, Colorado.
During her last year at the University of Colorado Boulder, she interned at multiple non-profits: Locheart Arts, The Alliance Française de Denver and The Arc of Aurora.
Sofia had an epiphany when she made a short PSA type video with people who have developmental and intellectual disabilities talking about bullying. She shortly dropped her Pre-Medicine track and graduated with a Studio Art degree, emphasis in Painting and Digital Art. After graduating in 2015, Sofia lived in Telluride, Colorado and continued her video work for non-profits; while being a Lift Operator and Ski School Instructor. In Fall 2018, she moved to Maine to attend and graduate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at the Maine College of Art.
Sofia is currently studying Environmental Studies and Natural Resource Journalism at the University of Montana.
